Good way to show that Coach, like a lot of Fathers, doesn't have a lot of rationality when it comes to his baby girls.

Yep, Coach loves his girls irrationally and unconditionally. :)It's one of his strengths...and one of his weaknesses.

ooohhhh this is sooo good!! I realize I'm gushing. But see I've only gotten to "EVER" and I love it and am typing away.

Shelley/Personal Barbie doll... perfect!!

Julie's spinning and your spinning of all the words and phrases and how she tells us all about how it all happened is stellar...

and then Eric's bewilderment over his lack of control over all of it.

Love it. Nice work.

Thank you for gushing--I'm flattered. I'm glad you liked the Shelley line--she and Eric have such interesting friction bouncing off each other. Aimee's performance of drunk Julie just rang really true to me. And I think that Eric's the kind of man who doesn't know what to do in a world he's not in charge of. Thanks so much for the feedback!

*Love* the last sentence. I bet you smacked your lips in satisfaction after writing that one. I would have!

While reading this, I realized how close we all came to having an Oz moment in this episode. Tornado. Girl in bed. Girl with head spinning. That's not too far from a girl on a spinning bed in a household that always seems to be twirling in the middle of some kind of storm! And Julie could lie there when everything calms down and say "You were there." (Tim) "And you were there." (Matt) "And you, too." (Lyla) And y'all can match 'em up with the Wiz folks as you'd like!

Thanks for your feedback! I actually really struggled with the last line, so I'm glad it worked for you!

And yes, we did almost have Oz in this episode, didn't we? :)
