Due to the rain and no drainage at my apts I was trapped yesterday and could not get out of my parking lot. I was watching trucks go by and the water was over their tires. I could have called someone to come get me but did not want them to risk flooding their car. I just took a personal day and slept and watched movies along with the news about the

now is the time to get good deal of 06 cars, because its the end of the auto years. The 07's are already on the lots and they are cleaning out the 06's there might not be any left in January.

Glad you stayed home instead of getting stuck in flood waters. I've been reading about the flooding on the web. Sounds like it was pretty bad.

Anyhow, at least you kept your power throughout the flood. The power at my apartment complex never went out... but a whole bunch of stores and stuff around us did.
