I remember playing IRO a few years back with tempus_thales. We had both created AGI/CRIT Knights and were desperately trying to get our characters through the mid-50s. There was no intricate questing system like the one WoW has, it was all about the grind; how much XP per kill and, thereby, XP per hour you could get. PVP is fun but I like reading the quest text.. WHY I'm clearing out a whole den of demonsummoners. and such.

This is a funny coincidence. I've just signed up for the 10 day Trial of Lich King and I'm liking being in Azeroth again. Have you tried being a Death Knight?

I'm actually holding off on playing a DK because everyone and their mother seems to have one.

Point in case: check out this comic =P

They're also a straight melee class which sort of puts me off because I do enjoy casters. I will probably start playing Wargasms, my DK after I've leveled my 'lock, after all I did go out of the way to make a build for her (link)...
