I can well believe that your taxes are crazy this year. I need to pester Mr. Bluestar to get ours done soon. We normally do them ourselves as we got screwed over by H&R Block one year.
I don't know what to expect. We owed a lot last year, which was really hard considering we were unemployed when we paid it. I'm hoping that this year will be better since we have a lot of deductions.
I know!! He's getting to be such a big boy now! And yes, that means my 2-year wedding anniversary is almost here, which is also somewhat hard to believe.
Oy, your taxes sound dreadful this year. You should get a nice treat for being a first-time home-buyer though. We've completed our first run through; just have to edit a few things and do my state taxes.
You know, the tattoo, in many ways, is better than any other sort of memorial you could have set up. It's always with you and offers a gentle reminder of how Nathan is still present in your life.
Branded, nice way to put it. Both by the tattoo and Nathan's death, I suppose? My dad's brother also died suddenly from a stroke (he was much older than Nathan, though), and I don't think my dad's life has ever been completely the same either. I didn't know you had a tattoo, but I like the idea. :)

Definitely a busy month coming up for you.
A good point on symbols.

I just found out I'm not going to Vegas after all. The month will be slightly less crazy now.
Thanks. :)

Good luck with the taxes. I don't envy you there!
Your tattoo sounds like a beautiful memorial for Nathan.

I can't believe that Lex is going to be 2. That means your 2nd wedding anniversary is fast approaching also. :)
I think it is a lovely tribute to your brother. Also something that is very unique that you will have with you always.
