So tired of drama at work. SOOOOOO tired. I don't know if I've used this metaphor before, but I feel sometimes like every day I go to a family reunion that has gone on a day too long... The gossip and the lies and the cliques...seriously. And the POLITICS

It can be. I try to look at this as a huge learning experience in how not to manage and what not to do. Sad?

Brides become bridezillas when they expect perfection. Just keep a very open mind, and take time for you (I got my nails and hair done a LOT!)

I'm sure that politics and gossip is pretty common at corporate headquarters in general. You would think people would have more fun at a company like GameStop, but they don't so much. It's just business.

Fries are not a small sacrifice. :)

ah, yes. politics, lies, and gossip. sbux is the only company that i worked for that kept that at a minimum. i have learned to play the game, smile, say as little as possible, and try to stay out of it. it's the only way to survive! try not to let it bring you down too much.

sorry to hear about the wedding mess. i hope it gets better for you.

I think the wedding mess will be fine. It's only three more weeks, and I'm not the maid of honor so I don't have much to do except look pretty. :)

Dr. K is so laid back, I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all! I'll see him next Tuesday and I'll ask if it's okay to have visitors, I think Kyle might try to come too.
