That no on 8 campaign was a travesty.

I also think that Obama killed 8, unintentionally. I know he is not a proponent of gay marriage, but I also know he is not a proponent of discrimination. BUT he is a proponent of GOTV for african americans, who voted yes on 8 to HIGH margins. FUCKITY FUCK.

To even say he killed it unintentionally is, I think, an overstatement. He took actions which happened to result in it getting killed, a few steps down the chain.

That he is our scion of "change" though and can't see that gay marriage is an equal rights issue speaks volumes about how pathetic our "progressive" political landscape is.
