Okay okay... for those of us that dont' know what your talking about with the whole "cults" thing i for one would appreciate an explanation. What do you have against the Poms? Just cause you don't like them you start a group that does i don't really understand what to opose them? Your giving them the power here but making such a big deal... i seriously just want to know what your talking about.

well, i'm kind of an outside source, but i have a theory or two. other than starting this as a joke, and having people who are insecure about their own standings in H.S. read too far into it, they could have started this to even out the overwhelming importance and respect a lot of people place on the pupils in such cults. people go crazy for these kids often not giving a shit about the youths who decide not join such clubs. parents, teachers, counselors, they all make us feel like we are doing something wrong if we choose to not participate in such shenanigans. and looking from the outside in, these organizations can seem like cults, in a facetious manner. large groups of people gathering for the same purpose, going about their business in a ritualistic manner, mentally competing against other groups (for example: the pep assembly debacle last year) and trying to recruit new members to make these extracurricular cliques unremitting. with some schools, not so much at freeland, the ones who join poms, NHS, and other similar clubs act ( ... )

I agree and disagree with Ryan (and no offense man). In one hand I agree with the fact that you can't silence K.A.C. I mean they haven't done anything wrong by voicing opinions. THat would be like telling Bayne to stop collecting cans and stuff. He's not hurting anyone, he just wants money! SAme with K.A.C., they want their opinions heard ( ... )
