You don't know me, but you came up in a search for Makoto Fujimura. I was wondering if you ended up with the special edition and if it's totally worth paying the extra money for it versus the regular version.
Also, does it actually contain images of his "Grace" series?
Any info your willing to share would rock. Thanks!
I haven't seen the regular version, but the book is actually only 21 pages long and includes artwork from Nihonga artists (though not from his "Grace" series). Honestly, if the regular version is nice, I would say that is probably the one you should go for, but I like my version just fine. His thoughts, though short, are well-written as always. I enjoy having it, and it comes in a nice box, but spending the extra money is totally your call.
