A beautifully put together scene as one of the King's concubine's and her lover are put to death. I acually haven't watched this move all the way through properly! It was either late last month or earlier this month when it was on TV during the day - I had it one in the background as I was doing housework, but I ended up standing, captivated, in front of the television during this scene. It really stuck in my mind for the rest of the day, especially the way the two lovers smiled at each other. I will make time to watch it again soon.
