new look: kind of. Got bolder green hair, and got a new piercing last weekend. Nothing really new clothes or hair style-wise though
most depressed time this year: Probably the whole first 5 months of the year, and especially the week or so before I dumped my leechy friend who only sucked happiness out of me and didn't give any back. Felt much better afterwards :) Big weight off there.

did you get heartbroken: sorta kinda. I don't know if I let my heart go enough to get broken in above ended friendship, but it still didn't feel good.

favorite Season: This year, I had the best summer of my life. Fall and winter have been pretty good so far too :)
least favorite season: hmm... Probably spring because of the crap that was going on then
good birthday? Not really. It was the second day of classes and I didn't know anybody and all day nobody even knew that it was my birthday. Rachelle called me though- that was nice. And then that night I went to my first XA and Steph Major started singing and people joined in. Then I think I went to a XA nacho party with Gus and Steph and other people I didn't know yet. So it started out pretty bland, but got better.

highest temperature: got pretty hot mid-September. When I was doing my diabetic really thirsty thing and having walking fieldtrips to the outdoor wastewater treatment plant. Miserable.

got arrested: no. Got kicked out of the lake by cops though. For the second time. I still don't understand how a lake can close. It's earth! You can't close my earth!

lost a family member: had a massive fish extinction over the summer. I felt like a failure in life.
got bad grades: no, surprisingly. I think my religion teacher is on crack. He gave me an A. He must not have even read my paper. Because there is NO way I deserved an A in that class. No way.
got a myspace: I've had mine for a while
kept a secret: I don't think anything explicitly "I'm gonna tell you a secret don't tell anybody", but I've kept things to myself that people have told me that other people don't need to know/hear.

1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before? I went to college. Flew by myself.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I don't do new years resolutions. If there's something I wanna do I'll just do it. <- same response as the last few years

4. Did anyone close to you die? No.
5. What countries did you visit? just this one
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? To live off-campus with people and have my car. Maybe a job. Haven't completely decided on that one yet.
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? May 15, graduated high school. May 20, ended big friendship, thus saving my summer. August 11, mad crazy intense glacial adventure. August 14, flew to Idaho. August 21, turned 18!!. September 13, got diagnosed with an incurable disease.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year? just being a well-adjusted(!!) college student. I figured I'd probably be fine- adapting to new places is my life story. But normally it takes about 2 years for me to really feel like not the new kid and get friends that I hang out with outside of school and stuff, so I'm really happy with how well and how quickly I've adjusted to Idaho. I can't wait to go back!

11. What was the best thing you bought? a college education, a trip to Kansas City, and I'm kind of excited about my new piercing :)

a) Happier or sadder? Happier! Last year my mom had just taken my dog to the pound :(
b) Thinner or fatter? Hard to say. I never weighed myself until after I got sick this fall and mom said it'd be a good way to notice changes, so I don't know where I was at last year. I have skinny days and fat days though.
c) Richer or poorer? hmmm. Well I don't really have any of my own money right now besides Christmas money, but this year I do have more access to my parent's Stephie-college-fund account.
18. What do you wish you'd done more of? read, pray, not be on facebook, go outside

20. How will you be spending New Years? probably kickin' it with Jesus in my room

25. What was the best book you read? Donald Miller stuff was good. HP 7 was good. I reread the entire HP series and first-time-read the entire LotR series last summer and I liked them
26. What was your greatest musical discovery? oh goodness. I have hundreds of new songs from Elise I haven't been able to listen through yet. But of the ones I have, I like Rilo Kiley and Downhere a lot. Misty Edwards is cool. Mat Kearney. And lots more too!

33. What kept you sane? Who said I was sane? I don't really know. I've stayed pretty busy and it's all gone really fast... Haven't had time to lose my mind.

36. Who did you miss? Right now I miss my Idaho friends. In Idaho, sometimes I miss my AK and other old friends, but not a lot... I do miss my kitty when I'm there though. And my other guitars and mandolin and keyboard.
37. Who was the best new persons you met? Oh goodness. Shall we go chronologically? Sarah, Rachelle, Drew, Gus, Steph, Jason, Elise, Willy, and the whole state of Idaho.
38. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007: Sometime you gotta do what you gotta do. Even if it's hard or you don't know what the outcome/reaction will be.. Because if it's something you feel like you really gotta do or say to somebody, for me at least, the outcome's been better than I could hope for.
