I feel bad that non smokers have to deal with the crap of second hand smoke, I don't smoke as much around people that don't smoke. I understand that we have the freedom to vote but I think that it's stupid that it's like prohabition all over again.

Have we not spoken since my AFI concert? And I saw InMe, and I just got back from Muse, fucking amazing they were. Next concert is Lostprophets then after that it's Placebo. And that's it for this year :( But we need to talk :)
since owners of private businesses can allow smoking all the bars will just become private clubs that people will have to pay to enter, I think the min to charge is a dollar.

I wouldn't mind being charged to goto a bar because I do now. Though when I turn 21I wouldn't have to pay anymore...but who knows now. I think that it's cool that this is a topic that everyone can reply to, even non-smokers are bitching. I love it.
Wow are you going to hate me for this one. I voted yess for that issue cause I am sick of going to resturaunts and having breathing problems just cause the smoking areas do not stop the smoke from getting to where I am sitting. The last time I was at a restaraunt all there was, was a half wall between me and the smokers. I did not see how putting a wall that only went to my chest would stop the smoke from getting to me. I do not mind people smoking in public places especially outside . But I do care when I am indoors in a small space and I can not breath well just cause someone wants to smoke while they eat. I feel like I have the freedom not to breath in smoke and get sick if I do not want nor need that. Now people are free to do as they wish but I do feel that in certain places there should be no smoking or have completely different rooms for those who want to smoke. I am sorry if this upsets anyone but hey we do have freedom and the majority of us voted to have it banned from certain areas. I realize that it sucks for smokers but

I'm not going to be pissed just...I don't know. Everyone has a right to voice their opinion and I respect yours even though I don't agree with it. I understand the whole deal about non-smokers and the second hand smoke B.S. I as a smoker won't smoke much around non-smokers just for the fact of they don't smoke. Everyone is doing well over here. Sammi is going for a week during thanksgiving to go be with her family. Her brother who is in the army, they are going to see him at his base for that week so I will not see her that week. My main problem with the smoke issue is that I do not get to go to local band concerts because of their being too much smoke in the air for me to be able to breathe. My heart beats too fast and the smoke makes it a lot harder for me to breathe. That is the main reason that I voted for issue 5. I just feel like I should not have to miss out on going to see bands or going out to eat at a nice restaurant just because there will be smoke there. There are times where I feel that I do not have the freedom to go and do these things when a smoker can always step outside at a restaurant to smoke, and at concerts to just wait until the concert is over to smoke. Other than that I most likely would have declined the issue. I have never had problems with people smoking or people who smoke, I just can not have it around me, and
