i think me leaving home at such a young age was that yearning for something more. breaking through what was expected of me and making my life my own. it's something you don't see often in la, or maybe not enough. people like to settle on an idea and stick with it. i like to break the mold of the conventional.

I love the idea of reading the same book when you're apart, I've never thought of that myself but it's very romantic.

I find art in any form magic. I think about paintings that I've seen or somgs that I've heard that inspire me to paint or write something and someone the sees or reads it gets a whole new inspiration. I love how you've painted Los Angeles here, makes me look at the place in a whole new light.

I've never liked LA much, but I've never looked at it with the perspective you are. You make it seem like a more history-rich and magical place and I love that because that's how I feel about New York. Both have their beauties. Much like this entry, because this whole thing was great and I love reading what you write.

Just lately, I've started feeling very attached to LA, and I could never pinpoint just exactly why, but I think you've explored that better than anyone ever could. The lingering glamour is still pervasive, I think, even if we may not realise it. And everyone should have bohemian ideals.
