Wilmington Trip
Days 4 & 5 -A lil' R&R...and a Surprise Visitor
Sorry I'm just posting, we've been exhausted when we get back to the hotel and I've not had the motivation to do much but sit. lol
We're still having a great time, did a lot of site seeing yesterday (Sunday) some souvenir shopping and just general Wilmington hanging out. It was pretty chilly so we didn't spend as much time walking downtown, but that will definitely happen again before we head out on Thursday.
Today we went to the Poplar Grove Plantation. Mom's all about history and what not so she really enjoyed that and I enjoyed snapping endless pictures on the beautiful grounds they have there. Afterwards we headed out to Wrightsville Beach to walk the shore and eat at Tower 7...which was just as delicious as Joy describe it to be. However, by a complete act of fate (or luck...I'd like to think the OTH gods are on my side-lets hope that carries through when it comes to season 8-) We couldn't find parking so mom asked a lady running by. Well, I was turned the other way, looking for said parking, and instantly recognized the lady's voice.
None other than Miss Bevin Prince was kind enough to stop her jog with her dog (Emma) give us directions and then so sweetly took a picture with me. She really is the sweetest ever, just as pretty and nice as you'd expect her to be.
I put (hopefully) the picture in this blog, facebook is being beyond stupid right now in the ways of photo uploads.
Sorry there's nothing witty or overly entertaining, my energy is drained. I hope you're all doing well, talk to you all soon!
