Transfiguration Class

Keda was still slightly shaken from last night. She was happy, but couldn't help but feel defensive as if it might be a set up. Maybe she had dreamed the whole thing.. that could be the plausiable explanation. Gathering her notes and her Transfiguration text book Keda made her way down from the Gryffindor tower to her class. Keda picked up the blue orchid and couldn't help but smile. It definitely wasn't pink. Since Kingsley sat ahead of her in class she couodn't see his reaction. McGongall had come in to class hastily and so Keda sat down quickly.

Throughout the lesson she couldn't help but stare at it and its brilliant blue colour. Then at the end of class, she slowly gathered her belongings till their was virtually no one else left in the classroom but her and Kingsley.

"Thank You..." she said, holding the orchid not knowing what else to say, or how to feel.

Kingsley stood up from his overfull bookbag, and gave Keda a hopeful smile.
"Happy Valentine's day." He said with a lopsided shrug.

He brushed an errant strand of her hair back behind her ear for her. It always seemed to be doing that.
" 'Walk you to class?"

A crimson tint flushed into Keda's cheeks. What was going on? She could have sworn she had... As he brushed her hair back she couldn't help return his smile.

She stood up on the tips of her feet and lightly brushed her lips against his. "Of course," she said softly.

Also ignoring the rather annoying comments circling the room, Kingsley watched Keda enter from his front row seat. As she moved through the bustle to her desk, he couldn't make himself turn around to see her reaction.

Before the class had started, Kingsley had left a small blue orchid on her seat. It was bright enough in color that he knew she'd see it and not sit on it, and it wasn't her hated pink or the conventional rose.

Kinglsey closed his eyes in and uncharacteristic show of emotion, and hoped she liked it.
