Keda Meronowich sat with one leg over the other by the fire place early Saturday morning. The sun was just beginning to creep up over the horizon, but she was already wide awake. Alice yawned as she sat up rubbing the sleep from her eyes. She enjoyed waking up early and going to the greenhouse. It was when the plants seemed the most vivid. Climbing off her bed she headed down the stairs planning to sit in front of the fire for a while to warm herself before the trek. She noticed Keda sitting in the corner and smiled softly to herself.

"Good morning, I am suprised to see anyone awake right now."

Keda glance was pulled from the fire and towards the voice, belonging to Alice. The two hadn't exactly talked since their fight Valentines eve. Yet without saying sorry, things seemed to have fallen back in place ever so carefully.

"Most people would be," she responded quietly, turning her gaze back to the fire.

Alice sat down near the fire, facing Keda. "So what gets you out of bed this early? Anything wrong?"

"No," Keda said quietly, shaking her head. She didn't really know why she was up early, she had just woken up and not been tired enough to fall back asleep.

"What about you?" she asked still looking at the fire.
