Hi! Er, I don't know if it is normal or if it is my computer which, for some reasons, decided he hated LJ, but the 8th kinkme comment'organisation seems weird to me. It's like the comments are no longer organized by prompt. Anyway, I took a screenshot.
LJ sometimes has strange jumps in humour, but judging by the screenshot this time it seems a case of mixed views. Could you take a look at the URL of the meme you are looking at to see if there is "?view=flat" written after the usual '.html' address of the page? Does it look like how you are used to seeing it if you follow this link?
The "flat" view of any posts, that we often give a link to, shows new comments in chronological order. This allows people who have already checked every threads to quickly see anything new that people might post. Regular view would be threaded comments organized by prompts. I hope this was the source of the confusion, please tell me if this wasn't it.
Someone posted a ficlet to a misplaced comment, apparently deliberately, here, and there's a bit of a conversation about how common it is on other memes and archiving following it.
