I wonder if I'm too interested in the lives of other people. Every so often I'll find myself on a chain of facebook-stalking that leads me to a person who I've certainly seen around but know absolutely nothing about. Sometimes they'll have a link to a blog

No worries. I have a tendency to facebook and blog stalk as well. If they don't want people reading it, don't post it. And certainly don't post a link from something much more public.
People are weird, believe me, I've seen some pretty weird ones.
I want to say fitting in is overrated. What I really mean is find the right group first, cause changing to fit into a crowd sucks.
Also, I'm stealing your survey sometime soon.
