We were in the midst of a baby shower when the big one at 3:30 hit. Of course, everyone forgot the mother-to-be and flocked to the windows, laughing carelessly about the poor pedestrians running for their lives...

I had to go to Sheffield's for dinner with girlfriends. Thankfully, we had settled into our booth in the back before the next big storm hit. There was debris everywhere! And flooding! What, is this Houston??? Thankfully, I didn't lose any electricity, but some co-workers just north of me still don't have power.

Dude. After I got done with my workout at the Galter Center. I got off my usual stop on Foster and Wolcott. Walking south down Wolcott to Winnemac, in other words, walking towards OUR BUILDING EXCEPT ON THE OTHER SIDE!!!!!!!!!!, a TREE HAD FALLEN! I had to walk around the other side of the street on Wolcott to get to the corner and to our side of the building.
