Actually that fits the trend historically, we've actually beaten KU more times on the road than we have at home and we've NEVER beaten them in Bramlage, the last time we beat them at home was back when we were still playing in Ahearn.
i'm proud of how our team played today...it definitely wasn't their finest, but it could have been worse. i can't say it wasn't painful, though...we were at the game and in the 9th row and just screaming our hearts out. so sad. i still love the boys and still love jim...
I'm certainly not, I'm proud of Martin and Diarra, they played rather well, but I really thought the rest of the team was lacking in their performance, esspecially knowing what they are capable of, and upon watching the one streak where we were playing well (at the beginning of the 2nd half). And it is a shame to know that Wooly is gonna go, because although we haven't made it quite where we want to, he has done a lot for the men's basketball program here.
yeah, i hear ya. dramman was the only one there on the rebound, period, and the team needs to work a LOT on ball control. they looked amazing on defense in the very beginning of the first half, too...but it just dropped off. they still put an effort out that has been uncharacteristic of other seasons, though. trust me, there were plenty of times i was screaming at them. can we find a small amount of solace that we beat ku in allen at least?
of course we can, but the catch-22 of basketball is that if you don't sweep them it also means that they beat you, so although we broke the streak this season was kinda a push, we won one, and they won one. Maybe next year...

I just want to see us win ONCE in Bramlage before I graduate. JUST. ONCE.
