ETA: Thanks to my friendly badger network I have found out that Vicky is alive and well though the building is only a few blocks from where she lives. Okay I can calm down now.

Oh I have. I was so worried when I saw the pics of the building on the news I knew it was near if not Vicky's building. And the fact that she would not answer her cell was freaking me out.

Glad to know that Vicky is okay! How sad is it that some folks automatically jumped to the conclusion of terrorists instead of tragic accident first though. This wouldn't have even entered our brains if not for 9-11-01. *sighs*

Yo, K. Thanks for caring. I went down the street to check it out - they'd totally blocked it off. I feel rotten for those poor people in the plane and in the apartment.

You feel really vulnerable. (Just before the crash, my Mom who is visiting me, was complaining about how low the planes were flying.)

Anyhow, we're all so packed in here, so close, it can suck.
