Merry Christmas (a bit belated)

I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!  I decided not to go home this year and am down in Munich with Glen for the holidays.  The first plan was actually to go see his family in their house in Spain for Christmas, but flights were too expensive, so we had a Bavarian Christmas instead!  It was a bit sad without family around for the second year ( Read more... )

oooo---glad you guys had a fun time for christmas! i've only been to bavaria in the summer time, so i don't know the dead animal side of it! the summer is more pleasant, I promise!

Bavaria sounds fun. Did you eat pretzels? Also my last job was in an old house in Syracuse that used to be owned by some family. In one of the rooms in the attic-- it was kind of a closet sort of-- the walls were all painted black, and covered in silver metal studs. It creeped us all out... so... that's what your story makes me think of.

I also like the end of this entry cause you kind of call yourself an animal. I mean, you are. That's why I like it. Anyway, happy new year!

Pretty much both, but differently. The young people wear little bits of fur, like a trim on their coats, the insides of their boots, a hat, etc. The old folks go all out and wear the full fur coat, hat, scarf, purse... it's like money = wearing lots of dead animals.
