I just registered for my first 1/2 marathon! Woohooo! I'm excited to give this a try... I've only done one 10k race prior to this, but I really want something to work towards in my running. I'm really enjoying running recently. At my new apartment there's these really nice trails through the woods that are perfect. I'm only worried about training because I guess according to this one regime I found I should start in August... when I'll be in Turkey. But I'll find some time to run in Turkey... still I'll have to really pick it back up when I get back! If you have a training schedule you think works well let me know...

It would have been a lot less painful if I hadn't had my wisdom teeth taken out a few weeks prior & interrupted my running schedule ;]
I liked running near a 'pace bunny' group - kept me consistent in my pace.
