Geneva: Week of win!
This week was definitely not only the best Geneva thus far, but also one of the best weeks of my life.
I was planning on getting there on Wednesday, but I heard Serene was leaving on tuesday so I planned on leaving on tuesday instead. But sadly things didn't go as planned. Sunday and Monday I spent the days doing work. Tuesday I planned on doing everything I needed to do and when I was done I was going to head out to Geneva around like, 4 or so. However, my cell phone decided to die and refuse to charge. So I had to go to the alltell store and spend forever trying to get a new phone. I'm on my mom's plan and she pays $5 a month for "in case shit happens" to my phone plan, but apparently the guy at alltell was fucking retarded. First I tried to just get my phone replaced, but apparently by that the guy thought I wanted to change the plan and he had me call my mom twice, the second time after he hung up he told me that my mom was going to come in with me and upgrade the plan. When I got home my mom said wat? and I went back to the guy and went no listen, just give me a new fucking phone. Which took forever, they went in the backroom and gave me this pos phone but I didn't care at this point because I just wanted to go and get on with my day. So he ended up charging me "$40" (and the bill when I saw it after leaving said the original price was about 180, when this phone was fucking ancient and shitty as fuck, with random discounts all over the place) and was like, wtfever I don't care at this point. When I got home my mom called the guy and was like, so why exactly are we paying $5 a month every month if we don't get the phone for free? So yeah, she decided to just go in and take care of everything. The guy was still being a tool, apparently he said theres no possible way to get a refund but another coworker was like.... yeah if you want it on the card, but we can give it to you in cash. Another person that came in there stormed out of there really pissed saying how it's such a hassle to come in here. The alltell website even has a bunch of free phones with the plan that are way fucking cooler then the one I was even using. Soooo, I will get my proper phone in the mail sometime this week. Also, I did my laundry, packed and washed my car, and then was finally off.
However, I took a way that I don't normally take and got lost a couple times. The first time I had no idea if I was actually going the right way and after about 30 minutes of going where the FUCK and was just about to start calling people to google map where I was, I saw a sign that said Geneva township so I was like, oh.... well I'll take it! Then after driving for another long while I came up to the city so I at least knew I was going the right way, but I realized kind of too late that I was on the opposite side of the city that I normally come in, so that was another detour. Then finally got there, but Serene was already gone and I was sad. That was about the only downer of the trip. When I got there though, fun times insued and I got to see Fred and Sporty, whom are both wowpals, in physical form and they are really rad fucking people too.
So other then evey day in Geneva being awesome, with awesome people, but this year we did a 360 / WoW like IRL achievements for people to do which made everything much much more fun then usual, it was a grand idea proposed by Mr. Fred and even though I didn't whore the achievements that much, people that did made everything way more amusing.
This was also the first geneva where by the time it was over I just couldn't wait for next years. Usually it's a, that week was awesome but thankfully it's over! So other then the few hardasses who were trying to compete over who had the bigger dick, it was fucking win and the most win Geneva thus far.
One of the best parts was on saturday, where we were planning on doing drunken water slides. We were being trolled by a thunderstorm which was sad since some of us were drinking in preparation. It cleared up eventually and we went to the place, but the mother fuckers closed it on us. So, we gave a big fuck you to the water slide place and pulled out a tarp, and fucking soaped and watered that fucker down and made our OWN fucking slide. The downside of this was that we might as well have put the mat on bricks because every part of my body afterwards was pain and I'm still incredibly fucking sore from yesterday, BUT, it was worth it! Also, packing up I found my fucking camera hidden at the bottom of my bag, so I missed out on pictures and videos sadly, but other people got to capture most of the win this week and they'll probably appear on the facebooks sometime this week so everyone who didn't go can get a taste of the awesomeness of our shenanigans.
Next years Geneva will probably be even more win since it will be most of the same people from this year, plus more win wow friends from various parts of the country, more people that usually go but couldn't this year, as well as hopefully less people who care about who has the bigger dick.
