The Decemeber concert was wierd this year

As opposed to the December concerts that are typically so normal? I think you missed my favorite (What is Beautiful), a series of individual pieces drawn together through the common theme of exploring beauty and creepy people in trenchcoats. I was a creepy person in a trenchcoat. It was bizarre, but in the end i think it turned out rather beautifully.

Good luck with your paper - honestly, i think i'd rather be studying torts;-)

Torts aren't that bad, really. The only class that i truly didn't care for this semester was contracts - and that one's all over. Woohoo!

yeah, I figured Genova 04 was old news and you're right I really don't want to write this paper--I already did a power point presentation for the class on the same topic and all I'm doing at the moment is cutting and pasting pretty pictures from power point onto Word...I guess I need to write something too. It's just getting started that's hard.

I just had a momentary freak-out--I was going to go to the cafe and get coffee and I couldn't find my wallet. I checked my bags and all my pockets and nothing. I have money and credit cards in there. Just when I was about to burst into tears my friend called to tell me that she found my wallet in the back seat of her car...sigh...

Kathleya- the performance sounds awesome! But you should really try as hard as you can to not work so much. I this is coming from me, when Jess and I worked all the time trying to do two majors and dancing... but it goes by so fast. While law school might pretend to be a lot of work, really I've gotten more sleep than I ever have since I'm only taking 4 real classes (and legal skills and ballet). And I'm feeling more sane than ever- while my law school friends are freaking out about all the work, I am practically stress free (not to say that I don't do my share of work, but I almost always get 8 hours of sleep). You should try having a chill semester- you'll get addicted!

yeah, I'm planning on taking on a little bit less next semester...just a little bit less. 21 credits plus shows and whatnot has definitely taken its toll on me--I've got a cold at the moment and haven't had quite enough rest to fully recover--but it's getting better. 10 am meeting tomorrow and then I'm going to get MY 8 hours of sleep!

hm... how was the winter dance concert any different than other dance concerts? last spring was somewhat normal... but remember the mostly improv one we had dec 2003? foam entrails?
