Oh my, it can't possibly be almost two years since I last wrote on livejournal. It's just can't! I am so terrible at keeping up with things like this

Wow- where have you been?! Crazy nuts- you are in Arizona. The program sounds like a lot of fun.
I miss Cornell too- but mostly I miss being 4 years younger and thinking that there was unlimited potential for me. I still think there is potential- just somewhat briddled by the loans I need to repay upon graduation.
Law school is not that bad- a lot of work, but it is such an integral part of society that you feel somewhat fulfilled by learning about it. I'm hoping to land a government gig- fun people and free time- and feel good work.
I'm still dancing a lot, so it doesn't seem that much different. Except I'm 24 and all the dancers are 18-21. Yep- I'm Deena. Except not a killer Rina.
Yeah it is crazy nuts I'm in Arizona! I never thought I'd come back to the Southwest. But they've got the best program outside of the MIT Media Lab but they're more focused on robots and corporate products so I didn't want to go there anyway. Plus they gave me a very nice NSF grant. It's a good deal.
I'm dancing in a couple of pieces for a dance concert here so I still rehearse a lot but it was really disappointing not to be able to take a technique class because I'm not technically in the dance department. I have to figure out who to sweet-talk before next semester...
Hey, it's great to hear that things're going so well for you in AZ. Congratulations on the choreography commission! :) If you get a chance, I'd love to read more blog posts about what you're working on.
On a related note, I've been reading more about AME and I think I want to apply for next year. I'd like to talk a bit with you about the program, application process, and the different departments, etc.. is your Cornell email still usable?
