summer charm

cotton dress

flapping in a summer breeze

barefoot, toes curled in wet sand

a song stuck on repeat

inside a mind

ruffled hair, curling wisps

dancing in the air

tidewater sweeping feet

ship on the horizon

barely in sight

waving passengers to other shores

the sun lowering in the sky

a charming scene.

I read these and feel like I'm on vacation, well apart from the sundress, I don't wear those. haha

Your love for the ocean is so apparent. Thank you for writing these I really enjoy reading them!

They say write what you know. Growing up in a sea town makes it easy to work with.

Thank you, :)

(p.s. I knew you'd make a joke about the dress.)

I'm becoming accustomed to your sense of humour.
