Stargate Atlantis: 3x17 - Sunday (why I love it)

Remember I started a SGA re-watch a few months ago? About a month ago, I watched 3x16 (The Ark) - which is the episode before Sunday.

I hadn't watched Sunday in years, and for weeks, I just couldn't bring myself to watch it.

( But I finally watched it, and I fangirled so much that I have to dedicate a post to it - more under the cut because there are spoilers - obviously - and quite a lot of pictures! )

I agree that there's so much good about this episode (you've covered them quite well *g*) that it's easy to miss because of the end. But even the end was well done with Rodney and Carson. It makes me cry every time.

I want to leave an intelligent comment about how I love Sunday too, even though I cry every time I see it, but I keep going back up to the picture of John on his back and...

I have to say, that I started crying when Rodney said Good-bye to Carson. But it was great to see the things they do when they have some free time

Sorry my response is so late - LJ hasn't worked for me for AGES. *pokes it*

I find the episode to be quite an emotional roller-coaster, because it makes me so happy to see what they do on their day off, but then so sad to see Carson die.
