Seriously, I need a job. But the thing I really don't get is how I always seem busy?! Here's my theory (taken from Star Trek of course): I live in some sort of tear in the space-time continum. I wake up, eat breakfast sometimes, go to the gym, BANG, two days later, I'm on my way to latin, thinking it's time for lunch, BANG, dinner, BANG, ( Read more... )

alright mike, this is what you need: a putty knife and a tube of caulking. scrape all mold off etc and fill the gaps and any drafty spots with the goo, then let it sit for 12ish hours and you're golden, no draft, no mold! if not this then masking tape is your friend, i find 1.5 inch works nicely. you need to get rid of it though, you could get mono and then you'll be really sick and we can't have that can we?

i kinda wish i lived in the rip in the space - time continuum, that would make sure i was never bored.

say hi to moldy for me, don't forget to brush his hair

Thanks for the advice Steffa! Although I think I failed to relate the extent of the water damage. The windows are about to fall out. They ARE being replace, along with my parents' windows in their room however. It has eaten INTO the walls, and while there is no actual crack to fill you can see the discolouration in the drywall. Oh well. Can you really get mono? That would suck. I'll brush his hair though!

yeah, to my knowledge mono can be caused by living in damp and/or moldy places, and you can have it for a long period of time - years even - without really knowing it! New windows are GOOD!! i got a new one quite some time ago, i bent the screen and broke one of the tabs because i popped it out too much when climbing out onto the roof... i liked to hang out on the roof outside my window for a time, good place to tan!
