why it's very important that I have twitter...
I've never been happier to be on Twitter than today. This morning. Because THIS HAPPENED. And, omg, it was GOOD.
Mark Gatiss on Twitter: The best and the wisest men whom I have ever known. Sort of. [then, this picture]
Cue: kaalee freaking the fuck out. Retweeting and grinning and basically giggling for the rest of the freaking day.
Also, I emailed incapricious, because I'm pretty sure I've figured out what happened that led up to the picture...
Okay, so Martin brought, like, nothing at all to the read through. He's got a coat, a scarf for the wind (and dapperness), and adorable little new white shoes that his wife bought him because they were on sale. He walks in with his sunglasses on and a shit-eating grin and everyone yells, "BILBOOOOOO!!!" and he bows.
Then Ben comes in overladen with a satchel and a lunchbox full of snacks, and a bag from the local market that sells really good locally made sweets, that he passes out to everyone. He makes sure everyone gets one. Then leaves them on the table in case anyone wants seconds. He eats four more himself.
Of course, he's recently got an iPad 2 and is RIDICULOUSLY excited about it. Because, duh, iPad. And he hasn't had ANY TIME AT ALL to play with it because of Frankenstein and Cabin Pressure recordings and documentaries and narration and balancing HIS EXTREME LEVEL OF AWESOME. But he brings it to play with during a break.
Of course he's just got a really cool new app that lets him draw things and he pulls it out to show Martin before they start and they get giggling and Mark has to give them a look and they stop. But still, SO MUCH giggling.
Then they get a break later and Martin's like: "Okay, show me now."
So Ben starts doodling a stick figure of Sherlock, in comic strip form, with speech bubbles and eveyrthing. Martin is laughing so much, omg, then he says, "okay, now do John!" So Ben draws John and they start making up all of these crazy situations for them to get into and Ben is drawing like a madman, and they are fucking cackling with laughter -- laughing so much they're almost crying from it. They can barely breathe from laughing so hard.
Then they finally take a deep breath, wind down, and grin stupidly at each other.
Because it's good to be back.
