Hey.. Under normal circumstances, I'd probably be all over a LAN party, but for two reasons, I find I can't:
1. I'm trying (mostly failing, but still trying) to get myself on a schedule, so that I can get decent sleep and all that second semester;
2. I've been working my ass off lately and really need a break- which is to say, I need sitting-down-reading-a-good-book time, for example, and not so much hanging-out-socializing-playing-competitive-games time.

That's fine. I've been worried about space, so it may in fact be a good thing (space-wise) that you can't be there.

Actually, I don't think I'm going to be able to make it either. I'm having trouble pulling together transportation, and I've just found out that the people I'm going to be working for this summer want me to come in on Thursday (which means I probably don't want to be getting very little sleep the night before). That coupled with the fact that I'm missing alot of my gaming software anyway means I probably won't be able to make it. Sorry.

Transportation's no excuse. I'll give you a ride if you need it. But making a good impression for someone you're going to work for is an excuse.

Sorry I wasn't able to get back about this earlier, but I (we) have had to do a bit of schedule-wrangling, so everything has been up in the air for a while now. Car-wise I'll be bringing Justin along with me. I'll see you there tonight!

I'm curious, what sort of stuff will we be playing? I haven't bought a new game in a couple of months so I'm a little behind. Luckily, I did get some BBY gift cards so I can pick one up today.

I'm honestly not sure. We'll probably play some UT2k4 (you can play this w/o the discs, so you can install from somebody else's for the LAN if you'd like). We usually play a round of Warcraft III (usually a fun poker map). We may play some Counter Strike. We don't play a lot of brand-new games. It's possible that we may try to get some CS:Source going (the new counter strike based on the Source engine used for HL2). Who knows? We may pull out the old Starcraft.

Yeah, I was going to ask how many of you have CS:Source because I was thinking about getting it. I might still have my UT2k4 and Starcraft discs sitting around here somewhere, but I'm going to have to dig for them :-P
