Of ends and beginnings

So... one chapter in my life is reaching it's end, my boss made it rather clear. Company does not have enough money to keep this much workers in, meaning I and few others are sent packing from work, to be more blunt, 95% chance I'm getting fired. Our boss is talking to the CEO's, not looking good, someone has to go, atleast a few, I'm naturally at

I am very sorry to hear about this... You did mention it on IRC this morning, but still, it is agreat shame it had to happen like this. Technically it is "Laying off", as you did not do anything worth firing for. That sounds better in your CV.

When do you know for sure?

If everything hits the fan, let's hope you land on your feet soon and can pick up something quickly. Earnings-related jobseeker's allowance will help to get started, but let's hope you get a new job before that runs out.

Will you be coming over to visit at some point this summer?

Oh i'll be sure to visit, if i'm layed off, and yes "fired" was just to be blunt, I havent done anything but what is told at work, in a nutshell.
