Related to Fran's Entry -- On Dogs

Over the last year, I have felt a strange desire build up to own a dog. I have no idea where this as come from, as I've never been that keen on them. I blame next door's black labrador, who always comes to see me when I get out of my car and I love like a best friend. You should only get Border Collies if you have sheep. Just a rule of thumb there.

Retired racing Greyhounds would be totally Jake with a nine hour nap a day. If you like them.

Otherwise, no dog for you, until your brain stops working right and you just HAVE to get one. Then get a terrier, because since you're already crazy, you might as well jump in with both feet.

Charlotte wants to get a retired greyhound. But I have to admit, that they just don't do it for me. I don't know why, but it's something to do with their sad expressions. I want a bouncy dog.

Charlotte wants sheep too. Or, rather, a sheep. And chickens. And a horse. I am not so convinced by these things.
