My mom has a Kindle. I'm sticking with paper for now. I really don't like the digital rights management (like with the Nook, you can only lend a book once, and you can only lend it for something like ten days - and if you buy a book from Amazon and something goes hinky with the rights, they can just pull it off your Kindle). There are still a few aspects to recomend it over the Kindle, like reading books without purchase if you are sitting in a brick and mortar store. Still like my coffee, still like to read while having my coffee. And that base memory. It will take a while to hit 1500-ish titles, but hitting 200 is not out of he realm os possibility with in the first year.
The digital rights issue is out there. It's a risk.
