Louie missed his flight this morning! yep..wouldnt be the first time i've done it but its been awhile. i did everything i could to get to san fransisco and could have made it, except i didnt wanna do stand by and wait at the airport allday or purchase another ticket

if you miss a flight, typically, they'll just add you to the next one. you shouldn't have to purchase another ticket.
what is more, unless you paid for stand-by prices, they're not going to make you do stand-by unless flights are sold out (highly unlikely).

i was given that option but i would have arrived at 11:47pm and i didnt wanna do that. plus the whole stand by thing might have been okay but there wre way too many people on the list.

it wasnt meant to be for some reason so i'll just take it as that....

Yes! technically this wasnt my fault, the flight was oversold and my seat was sold. I'll be compensated with a $200 flight voucher, now i can stay in austin and eat some of my sisters menudo!
