I was just reading that poem by Lord Byron and it perfectly encompasses the feelings I have right now.  I especially like the verses, "For the sword outwears its sheath/And the soul wears out the breast/And the heart must pause to breathe/And love itself have rest."  I guess I need to put love to rest right now.  The love I had has gone and I need

When you love, love freely and fully. Then, when that has passed, you might have the best of memories or the knowledge that it was all shared and most important - had meaning. Hope the thought helps a bit.
