Aight, this is just gonna be a brief post (yes yes, after not posting for a long time, I'm sure you all missed me a whole lot, lol :P) to inform you all that the Iris Development website is mostly coded and graphicked into existence - I just need to add... A few dozen other things, including content ( Read more... )

I like the design! I would suggest a different font face for the navigation, but I'm assuming that's been low priority so far? Very nice work overall!

Awesome, really like the final design. Looks great. ^_^

Regarding the blog - where you going to create it? 'cause such blogs are /generally/ part of the site they're related to, and as such, in order to look professional, are either hand-coded, or done with Wordpress (yes, I know you hate or generally dislike Wordpress, but so far you've used Linux, created a Twitter account (and used it), and attempted to use div tags. I don't think this would be such a huge problem to use after all that. :P

Rotfl... Well, thanks, btw ^_^

And hmm. I'm not sure - those were both the options I was thinking of, actually :P

I don't actually hate Wordpress, I've just never used it and haven't really seen the need or wanted to do so... Now that might change. Or I might hand-code it... Like I said, I'm not sure. That's why I haven't started with it yet :P But yeah, I definitely want it to be very professional, lol.

And, err, for the record, I never really used Linux, just kinda... Booted it up a couple times. That's all! O_O

I have Wordpress set up for my site's blog, but the posts and the software are both really outdated (almost exactly a year old, in fact). I was just testing it, and I don't link to it, but I really like it. With my redesign I've been thinking of merging my two blogs into one Wordpress blog on my site. It's really easy to make a Wordpress theme looking exactly like your site design, too.

Check it out, and you'll see what I mean, you can't tell its Wordpress. Some glitches here and there, and a few menus and links are missing, though.

Hmm, aye, that's why I was considering Wordpress, lol, because it is indeed quite good for all those things. For now, though, I don't want to take the time to download it anyway, though it's probably small-ish. I think I'll just work on the important parts of the site first, and then figure out what to do about the blog, lol.
