USELESS POST OFF THE STARBOARD BOW
Just doodling during a babysitting job. The house didn't catch on fire, so it was alright.
Also the like...One cosplay picture I have in my possession. I gotta be better about that next year, holy poop.
I will note that at the time, I was attempting to learn "Gekkouka" by Janne de Arc on the piano (yeah, I'm a weirdo. Laugh it up. 8|) and failing at the horrible, horrible key signature. I imagine Harlock to be saying here, "Good job, you suck."

This has kind of a long story about it. For one, I'll have you take a look at what is possibly the worst Black Jack dub ever (if not the worst dub ever). It has just about the best line that I've ever seen uttered by his lips, and that is
AND I'M ORDERING YOU TO CALM YOUR ROBOT DOOOOOOWN
So I did get a robot at the con. And my friend told me to calm it down. Then before I could stop laughing, she took a picture and caught me out of character.
Goddamnit.
OH YEAH, AND THAT REMINDS ME. THE CONVENTION.
It was pretty bangin'. I got recognised by a good deal more many people than I expected to (i.e. more than two) and I got to charge people thousands of dollars for photos. They never got back to me on that...Weird.
There were supposedly two other Black Jacks at Otakon -- one of them I actually met, you know, in person, but I never saw hide nor hair of the other one. I'm tempted to say that the other one was me, just with my proper makeup on.
Oh yeah, that story is real fun.
On the afternoon of my first day, after I had washed my meticulously-done makeup off and went to PF Chang's for a kickass lunch, I came back to the hotel and realised, hey, I'd forgotten my makeup. All of it.
So after I tried to shove the TV remote up my butt, I managed to put together a makeshift scar kit using my friend's mom's eyeshadow and lip pencil. That's what you see in the photo above. It definitely didn't turn out as good as I was hoping, but it turned out much better than I expected. And that was good enough for me (even if I did look horrible that evening since I was trying to rush the job. Blagh.)
