I already published several small posts on this subject in FB earlier. And in 2017 the Kazan log "Real time" asked to write for them already unrolled article. A reason for a repost of this article was the release of article of the Kazakh researcher of Kayrat Asanov in specialized group for fans of ethnogenomics, confirmatory my theory today. I gave the reference to it in the first comment.
And below directly a repost of my article from the Real time log. The reference to the source is stirred in the second comment.
WHY TATARS AND BASHKIRS...
As because of the boy from the Aral coast the history and cultural traditions in different parts of Eurasia changed. Artur Idelbayev's version
The Ufa blogger Artur Idelbayev in today's author's column written for "Real time" comes to a surprising conclusion: the tradition of Tatars and Bashkirs to have tea with milk, popular in Great Britain, is connected with existence of a certain gene. According to the columnist of our online newspaper, this factor makes related the Turkic people with residents of Western Europe.
IN THE BEGINNING THERE WAS A BOY
Many heard or read that British like to have tea with milk. Tatars and Bashkirs have such custom too. But very few people thought that traditions of residents of the Foggy Albion and the Volga-Ural region are connected by one genetic feature.
The matter is that people could not always drink milk of animal origin without effects for the organism. And still the majority of mankind does not use milk absolutely. It is all Southeast Asia, including China, Indochina, the most part of residents of Indonesia, India, Japan, more than 60 percent of inhabitants of Africa. Even at the European people, for example, at Greeks, Italians, Poles - the most part of the population cannot drink milk at all. They have an intolerance of lactose.
What is it? And it is feature of an organism: the child approximately up to four years quietly drinks mother's milk, and after this age the stomach ceases to perceive any lactose. And so was always with all people. Until about 5 - 7 thousand years ago in steppes, to the north from the Aral Sea, in one of communities the boy who in genes had a small mutation was not born and this mutation led to such change in an organism that he began to eat milk of animal origin without problems. So scientists claim.
This feature of its organism was transferred also to his children, then grandsons. So there was a community of people who could drink milk. By then the mankind already cultivated several animal species. Among them there were also those who could be milked.
What meant in those far hungry times to have an opportunity to use one more type of high-calorific food? This grandiose competitive advantage in fight for survival. If the neighboring tribes also supported pets, then only to have an opportunity to kill them and to eat meat. And descendants of that boy could be fed, without killing the pets, just eating the milk and products produced from milk.
The tribe expanded, it and its herds lacked vital space any more. Expansion of separate groups of the tribe in different directions from Priaralsky steppes began. Members of the tribe came into marriage contacts with the neighbors and transferred this new property of an organism - a laktozoustoychivost - and to the neighboring tribes. So the laktozoustoychivost extended by a steppe part of Eurasia.
Quite big and very aggressive part of the tribe moved to the west and through several generations reached the westernmost tip of Europe. A part of scientists assume that ways of migrations to the west of this community of the people consisting of descendants of that boy who learned to drink milk without effects for an organism there were two. The first went on the South of Europe, and the second through Mesopotamia, North Africa and through Gibraltar on the territory of modern Spain. And from there already extended across all Western Europe.
AS BASHKIRS BECAME RELATED WITH CELTS AND TUTANKHAMUN
And from where scientists learned that there was such migration? The matter is that the community of the people having in themselves a laktozoustoychivost gene had one more mutation which is descended, however, this time only in the direct male line - R1b gaplogroup.
From 70 to 90 percent of residents of different areas of Western Europe have R1b gaplogruppa. It means that all of them are genetic relatives. These are first of all Basques of Spain, Irish, Scots, uelsets (Welshmen), Bretons of France. Among them as I already wrote, representatives of a gaplogruppa of R1b - from 70 to 90 percent. And even up to 40 percent of residents of Germany have this gaplogruppa. And here to the East of Europe the frequency of representatives of this gaplogruppa already falls. Among Czechs and Poles is them even less. And among Russians in general there are only 5 percent.
And only in South Ural the bright spot selects concentration of representatives of R1b. Who it? And it is gayninsky and burzyansky Bashkirs. About ten years ago, having for the first time studied analyses of these groups of Bashkirs, scientists were struck. Turkic-speaking Bashkirs had had DNA, related to the western Europeans, mainly - to Celts! It should not have been, but these geneticists could not deceive.
At first scientists decided that ancestors of Bashkirs once migrated from Western Europe to the east, got to Cisural area and here having mixed up with local population, tyurkizirovatsya. But then, with development of ethnogenomics and emergence of an opportunity to obtain data of more exact analyses, it became clear that carriers of more ancient subwarehouses of a gaplogruppa live not in Europe, and in Priaralye. Means, migration began from here. And its main flow went after all through the Caucasus, Asia Minor, Mesopotamia and North Africa.
Even the Pharaoh of ancient Egyptians Tutankhamun has R1b gaplogruppa. imhotour.ru photo
How it was revealed? And on all way of the following carriers of a gaplogruppa left a loop in the person of the descendants among local population. Now representatives of this gaplogruppa are revealed among modern Armenians, some North Caucasian people, Turks, etc. Even the Pharaoh of ancient Egyptians Tutankhamun has R1b gaplogruppa. And this with the fact that the modern population of Egypt is carriers absolutely of other genes.
Obviously, the Pharaoh was a descendant of the aggressive people of the giksos which conquered Egypt and holding there the power for 500 years. And it is obvious that gaplogruppy, at least at its ruling dynasty, R1b carriers were basic. According to contemporaries, giksosa for the first time introduced fighting chariots and curve onions to Egypt. Before Egyptians of onions did not know.
Most likely, onions were the invention of erbin (R1b) too. And along with ability to eat milk was powerful competitive advantage. Not for nothing in the territory of Western Europe there is no representative of inhabitants of the era left preceding invasion of erbin. The best adaptability and powerful curve slozhnosostavny onions made the business. Opponents of erbin had onions too. In general, the history of onions contains several tens of thousands of years. But onions to onions discord, and they can differ as a modern shot-gun from a Kalashnikov. Curve, slozhnosostavny onions of erbin were better and reached the latest time under the name of English (and in fact - Scottish) onions.
Destruction of the local doerbinsky population of Western Europe was promoted also by the fact that newcomers cultivated a cult of the Moon. Its sense was that they had to kill all representatives of a masculine gender at strangers. Everything, including children. Domination of their descendants in the countries of modern Europe is also explained by it.
THE BRITISH TRADITION IN SOUTH URAL
And tea with milk? And here tea with milk? Ah and … There passed 4, 5, 6 thousand years … In the 17th century descendants of those aggressive erbin - British - conquer India and do it by the colony. Deliver from China tea there and begin to cultivate it. Tea and tradition of a tea drinking from an easy hand of British extends worldwide. But more any people, except British, have no tea, mixing milk there.
And only Bashkirs and Tatars in the far Uralo-Volga region have tea with milk too. And they do not even adjoin to British. In large quantities tea extends across Russia including among citizens to it the people, at the time of Peter I.
And how so it turned out that Bashkirs and Tatars, as well as unknown to them British, have tea, adding milk there? And genes!. Genes worked. Just once the gene of a laktozoustoychivost appeared at the representative of a gaplogruppa of R1b in steppes to the north from the Aral Sea 5 --7 thousand years ago. Ancestors of British carried away this gene to the west and informed the British Isles.
The community which became frame the burzyanskikh and the gayninskikh of Bashkirs subsequently remained the only immediate genetic family of inhabitants of the British Isles in steppes of Eurasia. As it was already noted above, they, as well as most of the British, have R1b gaplogruppa, and through it kept also a laktozoustoychivost gene. This pronounced laktozoustoychivost also predetermined emergence of tradition to have tea with milk. Added milk to everything before what it was possible to add to, began to add also to tea when it appeared.
And at Tatars? Among modern Tatars of a gaplogroup of R1b it is widespread not so widely, as among Bashkirs. Why they then too like to have tea with milk? And the matter is that, unlike a gaplogruppa which is transferred only in the direct male line the gene of a laktozoustoychivost is transferred as on men's, and female lines.
According to the famous researcher of ethnogenomics Bulat Muratov, according to researches of outosom (unlike гаплогрупп, transferred as on men's, and female lines), Tatars and Bashkirs are the immediate genetic family. The next! Closer - No. This relationship was formed throughout not one century. And it is clear that at such genetic relationship the laktozoustoychivost could not but just pass from one group of people to another.
Here it here, at first sight, improbable, but quite logical explanation of why custom to have tea with milk, except British, it is widespread among Bashkirs and Tatars.
On the course of reading a column the experienced reader can have several reasonable questions. I will try to answer them immediately:
The 1st question:
- How it is possible to explain that Russians and representatives of many other people of Russia like to have tea with milk too?
Answer:
- There is no contradiction here. I already mentioned that the gene of a laktozoustoychivost is transferred both on men's, and in the female line. And for 5 - 7 thousand years since it appeared, it extended across all Eurasia and beyond its limits in the genetic way. At the same time it is worth recognizing that among the Russian and other people of Russia custom to have tea with milk it is widespread not so widely and is not national tradition, as at Tatars and Bashkirs. The same concerns Kalmyks, Uyghurs and Mongols. As carriers of steppe culture they make national drink with addition in milk tea too. But it already absolutely other dish - with fat, the test, I will merge, etc.
Some groups of Kazakhs like to have tea with milk. It and is unsurprising. Genetically, on autosomes, they are close to Bashkirs. But nevertheless at them it is not so strongly developed, as at Bashkirs and Tatars.
The 2nd question:
- Some people of the Central and East Africa like to cook tea with milk too how it is possible to explain it?
Answer:
- Quite right, in Ethiopia, Kenya and some other countries of the Central and East Africa the local population should has laktozoneperenostimost as most of their African relatives, but also has tea with milk. This phenomenon only confirms our theory.
The matter is that these people at a component have a big percent of a gaplogruppa of R1b. There is no doubt that the gene of a laktozoustoychivost got from this gaplogruppy here.
And how this Eurasian gaplogruppa got to the Central Africa? By and large, it is a riddle. But, most likely, it is descendants of one of migration groups which went through North Africa to Western Europe, turned to the south, got lost and settled here. Over time they mixed up with the local Black population. But in memory of the past at them, only on the African continent, in music prevails pentatonic, inherent cattle breeding tenor of life and a laktozoustoychivost there are more east part of Eurasia. By the way, pentatonic in music distinguishes also Celts (R1b gaplogruppa carriers) from other Europeans.
The 3rd question:
- It is well-known that British are descendants of Saxon and Norman conquerors, but not the autochthonic population of the British Isles. How did it turn out so what at 70 percent of British of a gaplogroup of R1b and a pronounced laktozoustoychivost?
Answer:
- It says only that among modern inhabitants of the British Isles lineal descendants of Saxon and Norman conquerors do not prevail.
On other questions if they are, I will answer in comments.
