hey, i forgot to ask, how was the subway party car??? do you have photos?
i'm going to take a guess and bet that it went well and was awesome like whoa : )
marlon brando is an interesting actor. esp. when he won his oscar and sent a native american to make a speech about native american issues. the fact that it was in the 70s and was booed compared to actors now and how their political stances are often applauded is also interesting.
you guessed right! the subway party was awesome. :D a few livejournal people showed up too so that was interesting... sadly, the photos i took are still in my non-digital camera and are yet to be developed. basically, we put streamers all over the car, there were balloons and lots of bubbles as well as drums! somebody even brought a pin the tail on the donkey game! hehe.
and yes, marlong brando was a cool guy. i didn't even know about that whole native american business! that makes me respect him so much more!
awesome. well, if you have another subway party and i am not working during that time, i will mos def go coz y'know, bubbles are always fun!!! :D
and if you're interested in reading the article/semi-biography of marlon brando, where they mentioned:
His most famous act of rebellion was his refusal in 1973 to accept the best actor Oscar for The Godfather. Instead, he sent a woman who called herself Sasheen Littlefeather to read a diatribe about Hollywood's treatment of Native Americans.
