how true. what you have written, that is. christmas doesn't seem like a time for apologies. no time ever does really. i doubt i'll ever know if that "thanks" to your christmas darling of 2003 was intended to reassure or sting. either would be okay, i suppose. didn't really mean to make this a dramatic e-mail to dig up the emotions of christmas past. just wanted to say hi, let you know that i read your entry, and that you are (and will be for some time to come, i would imagine) the person i associate with "merry christmas darling". last year was a very merry christmas for me. and i wish you nothing less this season.
