Well...I did it. I finished Harry Potter in a little under 28 hours. I would have finished sooner, but I took an hour break to visit my uncle yesterday afternoon and I had to stop reading at 10 last night because my eyes got too tired. I really hope someone out there in journal land finishes the book soon, because I'm in need of someone to ( Read more... )

I finished too!!! I finished in about 16 hrs, but 2.5 of those were sleeping, and 8 of them were working/reading. Talk to me, talk to me!

They should make a website where everyone can go and put down how long it took them to read it. I thought I was doing good at 28 hours. Then Kathy totally beat me and did it in 16.

I finished...part of which was done in Garfield's and I think I terrified the people when I yelled at JKR. How can he not go back to Hogwarts?!?!? I thought the whole premise was that they would be at Hogwarts for seven years.

I too was very angry at JKR, but refrained from yelling at her. However, if things continue to make me mad in the next book, I will be forced to climb into the book and make Harry stop being a stupid boy.

I was totally off in my predictions too! I'm mad about where the book went...but I still think it was a good book and I'm very anxious to see how it all comes together. I feel like more questions were brought, than answered in my mind.

I KNOW! I was so amazed at where she took this book, but things happened that I expected to happen. They kinda had to. However, she has a LOT to answer for in the next book, she has a lot to get through. So much has yet to be resolved! In this book, it's like she set up another 5 books! What's the crazy woman thinking?!

She's got a lot of work to do to finish this all off in one book. My prediction: Book seven is going to be 98,523 pages long. We'll all have to take a month off of work to read it.

She better not leave loose ends. I'll be so pissed if after finishing book 7 I'm still wondering about some things. And you know it's gonna happen.
