OH, very interesting beginning. Hmmm, is it part of a series? I seem to remember reading other Ten II fics written by you?

Otherwise, yeah, it makes sense that the human doctor isn't human, but part human. After all, the hand was 100% gallifreyan, the regeneration energy was 100% gallifreyan and Donna didn't even touch directly the hand, just the thing it was put in, right? So she just triggered this new regeneration which had been contained.

Yes, I had a few other fics, and it's part of a series. I could never quite figure out the "he's completely human" fics--on the show they say he's "part human" and anyway if he was completely human, he couldn't contain a Time-Lord consciousness. Besides, it's much more fun to write a story about an alien hybrid!

I had a sudden urge to find some good post-JE fic, and I was thrilled to see something recently completed. I love the details such as the Dalek planter and how Rose keeps thinking of him with the lowercase 'd.' His reaction to the word 'boyfriend' is spot on, along with his dawning realization that he'll have a job.
