Thanks, I'm working on other stories. That is, I have some stories about 10.5 going, though currently I've been distracted by the Time War ... but it's always nice to hear someone liked it enough to want to read more.

Thank you. I stole the furniture polish from "The Stolen Earth." It just struck me as funny--and apparently other readers feel the same way.

Ace and the squid will have their day at some point in the distant future. I've just got a number of other stories (and real life) to get through first.

Thanks for the review. You know, they really do make me write faster! (And I thought that was a lie.) Or at least, they make me want to write faster. Little tied up with Christmas right now. But I have a few longer stories in the works.

I really liked that one; every bit as cracky as canon, good characterization, lots of stuff to laugh at, but with a really melancholy core. I'd read more. ;)

(Especially if it involved Ace and a squid, because that line made me laugh out loud.)

TBH, I clicked on this from the Daily when I saw your username (I mean, dude, I almost *had* to). I find it entertaining that we both like Doctor Who, Lovecraft, Diane Duane, and Lois McMaster Bujold. :D Hope to see you writing more (after Christmas, anyway . . .)

Grinning uncontrollably at your icon ... Yeah, that is a strange coincidence of interests. Ace will only be in one story in my Bluesuit series (at least, that's the current plan) and that story is a long way off, but I expect it to be a long story, and to feature Ace and the squid prominently.
