Since he is the nation England, he pretty much knows about everything English and British through early 2010 (before the PM elections). If your character is from anything of British origin, he'll most likely know about them. He's bound to know mythological and fairytale characters as well ( Read more... )

Feel free to have him know about the Hellsing Organization (aka the Royal Order of Protestant Knights), seeing as it's under the Queen. Could bounce it off Freshy (who plays France and Pip), but I doubt they'll mind.

I don't think England will know about the organization, since it's originally from a manga, unless Japan enlightens him. I guess if she talks about it, he'll either think she's fictional, or from an alternate universe. He'll probably be very curious about how different their worlds are. :3

That sounds fine to me! She might mention it once she finds out who he is, but otherwise wouldn't.

He'll know Kanda! Kanda lived there for about 8 years or so, working as an Exorcist and fighting evil monsters.

Oh wait, does the DGM (Hoshino-AU) canon count? Because if it does then go ahead yes he knows him. Otherwise maybe not. orz.

Probably not since Kanda would be fictional in his world? Once he knows more, he'll consider Kanda to be fictional or from an AU. It would be fun to discuss once England figures it out. XD

Fourth wall breaking is absolutely okay for this John Watson. John's used to it. He found out about the fictional Sherlock Holmes his first day on the ship.

(I can't speak for the other John Watson, or the Sherlocks. XD )

Gwendolen here is from Edwardian Era-ish England that is saturated iwth magic, she herself is a witch, so she would know about all those fantasy stuff, but her world is canonly an alternate world among other paralel worlds...

Feel free to have him know about the Chrestomanci, one ofthe most powerful enchanters with multi lives and overseer of the use of magic and magical incedents throughout the worlds (and Gwendolen's uncle and she hates his guts]

or feel free to fourth wall in any way...

Although American, this lady is in a certain little detective story you might have heard of. :3

I'm good with her being 4th walled from the Sherlock Holmes story "Scandal in Bohemia", but not the movie.
