1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Lent out my a crutch to ex-boyfriend so that he could smack his friend around the head shouting "I AM PERSEUS, AND I WILL SLAY YOU, BEAST"
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
. . . what WERE my New Years' resolutions. [ponder!]
3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
Cousin! Her daughter is absolutely adorable.
4. Did anyone close to you die?
My grandfather. I never went to the funeral, but apparently my six-year-old cousin kept saying, "I really think we should open the box. What's in it? :DDD" [regarding the box containing his ashes] When my uncle said, "Grandpa," apparently she paused and then said, ". . . where are his bones?" O-o Brynne.
5. What countries did you visit?
Can. . . ada?
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007?
Acceptance into an university. Possibly more than one!
7. What date from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
September 23, 2007. I know it's really damn cliché, but it was my eighteenth birthday party and I spent an entire morning/afternoon out with all my closest friends picking apples and eating cider donuts. I don't care if I shredded an entire pair of tights climbing a tree in a skirt, it was worth it.
8. What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Er. . . finishing my applications a few days ahead of time?
9. What was your biggest failure?
. . . I have to pick one?
10. Did you suffer illness or injury?
Extensive knee surgery to remove one helluva tumor in June, and something particularly virulent all throughout the month of November and a little into December.
11. What was the best thing you bought?
"Clocky." Now I don't have to worry about killing my alarm since it will run away on me.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration?
Katerina, whose extreme type-B behavior in my presence and flat-out declaration of "you're being waaaaaaay too stressed out about everything!" probably saved me from getting more gray hair.
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed?
Lying Liar Jock from my school who lied about doing crew so that he could get accepted into Stanford, then proceeded to viciously insult anyone who didn't get accepted into their top school. Props to you, Matthew, and I hope the Admissions Committee finds out soon.
14. Where did most of your money go?
Applications or gas.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about?
. . . summer CFUD applications. I can has noodleknight.
16. What song will always remind you of 2007?
"Who Needs Sleep?" by the Barenaked Ladies. Self-explanatory.
17. Compared to this time last year, are you:
happier or sadder: Happier! I was severely depressed last year.
thinner or fatter: Fatter. But that's a good thing, because I was 92lb back then and I'm 5'3". o-orz. (I'm barely hitting 100lb now)
18. What do you wish you'd done more of?
Hanging out with my friends (sort of), s-studying for some tests, visiting the local animal shelter to see omgkittens.
19. What do you wish you'd done less of?
Stressing, crying, staying online for absolutely no reason.
20. How did you spend Christmas?
Slept in, got presents, slept more.
22. Did you fall in love in 2007?
Nope!

Scrubs? The Colbert Report? I don't watch much TV!

My French teacher. But I hadn't met her last year, so that may not count.

Good grades on first term of senior year? God, I don't know.

Acceptance into Stanford, A for the full-year grade in physics (curse you, A-!), a life.
