I'm in a funk. I hate being in funks. I think it comes from a "being bored as hell because I'm between shows" place. And Steve being in a funk as well doesn't help. He's finally done with school (graduated magna cum laude this weekend - I have to brag), but has no idea where he wants to go from there. He's had offers from both his old college and

I get totally and utterly bored when I'm not working also. And then I get depressed about my lack of productivity.

Thank god I've had Alyssa's wedding dress to work on during this spate of unemployment. I've been grateful for the break, honestly... I went from working so much in school and at Nominum all at the same time, the break is nice. But at least I've had the dress to make me feel like I've actually got something to do, despite how little I have worked on it lately. ;) But at least it gives me a goal.

*sigh* I really want a new cosplay project to work on. Especially now that I've got a really great idea for a pair of costumes that won't get out of my head. They're so freakin' cute, in my head!

Oh, I know, the crafts are probably the only thing keeping me sane. Nothing nearly so fantastic as a wedding dress (how cool is that - to build your sis' wedding dress?!?!), but still little bits and pieces and projects. One of these days I will have the space for a sewing machine and try to remember how to work it. Until then, I have my knitting needles and yarn and cross-stitching and embroidery.
