Yes, I'm pregnant. I'm due March 5th. I don't know if it's a boy or a girl. My maternity leave starts February 27th. I feel fine. You really want to know? Tired, sore, and hungry. But fine. The same thing happened to me. My favorite was "Get your sleep now - you won't be getting any soon. Hee hee hee." Bite me.
But then, when people asked me if I was "still pregnant" I would say "No, I'm just fat now."
But I'm a bitch like that, I guess. :)

I am _so_ using that. "No, I'm just fat now".
Thanks for bringing a smile to my face in a crappy day.

They'll realize you've been answering these questions 10x per day, every day.
People are always looking for a social lubricant and obvious pregnancy, unfortunately, is something most people latch onto for a conversation subject.
Again, sending you happy calm-labor vibes. May your doctor be a redundancy. Try to enjoy this time in your life -- though you may not feel like her, you are The Goddess. Be present in the moment.

I missed out on most of this in that my family decided to pester my mother near the end of the pregnancy because they did not want to call me and disturb me. :) My mother got to field the daily calls from my Aunt - Did she have the baby yet?
At least you know everyone means well they just don't know how else to talk to you. Sometimes they do not realize that even though you are pregnant you do still have a life and can talk about other things :)

At the very least this will have the effect of changing the most frequent question to "Wow, have a lot of people been asking you about these things?"
Then you can say, "No, there's just this one guy, asking me ten times a day, pretty weird really, but it still qualifies as 'Frequently'". After a beat they will realize that your straightfaced akward humour was not an attempt to be warm or talkative and that they can probably go away now.

Unless, of course, you're referring to my brother's birthday. Which is, of course, the same day. And it would really puzzle me that you remembered his and not mine.
