This is not "vaguebooking" but is part of another conversation I'm having on another forum.
Sharing genes with a person does not obligate you to bond them out of jail. FULL STOP.
Especially if you have to put up your car/house/land/other personal property as collateral to the bail bond business.

They thought of it as a gift, when in reality it was growing mountain of debt I could not shoulder because the roof and plumbing were going and dad had remortgaged it to the max, plus I have massive student loan debt. There was no way I could afford it, so told my sister to take it if she wanted. We ended up letting the bank take it back. Some people leave nothing but debt when they pass and I have enough of my own to deal with.
