For wendymr - The five DW scenes I wouldn't change for the world

This hasn't been as easy as I thought it would be, bar for my number 1, which was a given. But the rest wasn't easy at all, actually. Be warned, what I usually like best in a show is what makes me cry. ( Click for great amount of pictures! )
LOL. Maybe because... I dunno. I guess that really puts me down as a cheerful girl, doesn't it? ;)
Actually, to tell you the truth, I think I like drama in fiction more than comedy because it usually shows the characters' true feelings, and in a show like Doctor Who, it allows the actors to really perform without the extra bit of cgi or whatever special effect that usually comes with a sci-fi show. I suppose that's why I like those scenes best. Then again, I've always had a soft spot for those scenes even when I wasn't watching sci-fi stuff... go figure. I just like hurt/comfort. *grins*
Oh and as for the fact that you knew what three of these scenes would be shows that you do know me well. Of course, it does help that I talk about DW ALL the time. ;)
You're a bundle of laughs, aren't you? ;) Go on, tell me that the final episode of Children of Earth would have been in there too if you'd had space, right?
I see a theme here, it leads me to conclude you loved the endings of James Camerons Romeo and Juliet and Titanic, I cannot blame you for this because I also suffer this affliction. The ending of Doomsday is so heartbreakingly beautiful and I cannot agree more that it is the best piece of television ever.
Believe it or not, while Cameron's Romeo & Juliet and Titanic endings were all right with me, they didn't actually make me cry. I was sad, yes, but there were no tears. Proves how powerful Doomsday is. ;) Heartbreaking is the word! :)

Okay, okay, I'm kidding!
Like I said... I have 3/5 (Scenes 1, 2 and 5).

Yeah, thank God you do know me, or else you'd think I'm no more cheerful than a whole bunch of Daleks at a Cybermen's tea party. ;)
(that said, maybe the Daleks would be cheerful in such circumstances)
