I'm all for pen names, really. I can understand being more comfortable with the idea that your nextdoor neighbours, ex co workers, mean kids form school, etc. don't automatically know what you're doing and what you're writing. That, and I like the idea of telling my parents to go read through the bookstore and if they guess which one I wrote, I'll confirm it, otherwise I'm not giving them that much info on the kinds of things I like to write about ^^;;

I just type really fast., I suppose... when I have an idea, I have an idea, and I can't wait to come to the keyboard to write.

I'm back in fantasy now. No yaoi, sadly, but maybe fanfic is possible if I get famous enough. Signed copy will be delivered to your door the minute it's off the presses.

I haven't left fantasy. Mostly writing bits of urban fantasy these days, but occasionally it gets back into the "high" fantasy stuff. But mostly I like to play with angels and demons and magic in current settings.

If you ever want feedback on ideas or your writing, I'd love to read your stuff and help if I can n.n (ie. those who can't be bothered to st down and write themselves, beta for others XD )

I too have often considered a pen name, though my mother-in-law has often tried to talk me out of it for various reasons. On the off chance that you end up uber famous it really would be nice to still have some form of privacy. Plus I'm not a huge fan of my name XD I'd rather have something "kewl" scrolled across my books. Though I do admit it would be pretty awesome to see my name on the cover of a book o.o

I agree with you... either it's awesome to be all, "LOOOOOK LOOOK LOOOOOOOOOK HA HA FUCK YOU" at my high school reunion (yes, I'd do that), OR there's the privacy thing, where people won't really be all coming in my house telling me that I'm a total bitch for killing off X character and sparing Y magical creature instead. These choices are tough!
